Financial Controller - Junior
As a Junior Controller, you will monitor, analyze, and support managing the liquidity position of the Group, providing direct support to the Senior Manager and CFO.
Role Description
As a Junior Controller, you will monitor, analyze, and support managing the liquidity position of the Group. You will consolidate cash flows across all entities and SPVs, maintain the Group's liquidity forecasts, and provide the Senior Manager and CFO with a clear, forward-looking view of cash availability, funding needs, and liquidity risks.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Flow Forecasting: Maintain the Group's short- and medium-term liquidity forecasts (incl. rolling 13-week and 12-month), consolidating expected inflows and outflows across all entities and SPVs.
Liquidity Monitoring: Track cash balances across Group bank accounts, monitor available headroom against funding requirements and covenants, and provide early warning of potential shortfalls.
Consolidation & Reporting: Consolidate cash positions across the Group and prepare regular liquidity reports for the Senior Manager and CFO, highlighting funding gaps and risks. Assist in preparation of financial covenant calculation and key financial metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
Forecast Variance Analysis: Compare actual cash flows against forecast (Group and project level), analyze deviations, and continuously refine forecasting assumptions and models. Work closely together with project managers to oversee and manage project budgets.
Funding & Intercompany: Support intercompany funding, and drawdown planning and execution to ensure each entity remains adequately funded.
Qualification Criteria
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in a financial controlling or business analysis role.
Education: Diploma in the field of finance, ideally management accounting or economics.
Excel Proficiency: Strong understanding of functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, and data manipulation.
Languages: Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) are mandatory, Polish language skills are beneficial as you will interact with both local teams and international stakeholders.
Analytical Mindset: Strong logical thinking, high attention to detail, and the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from complex datasets.
